Turkey: Explosion in Istanbul: 3 people injured

A packet, allegedly handed over by a transport company, exploded at its opening in Maltepe.

AA - Istanbul - Tuncay Çakmak - Three people were wounded in an explosion on Monday in Maltepe, in the city of Istanbul.

A package, reportedly handed over by a transport company to an engineering company in the Zümrütevler neighborhood of Maltepe (Istanbul), exploded when it opened.

According to a provisional assessment, three people were injured in the explosion.

Ambulances and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
